PRODUCE A FILM    

The prime objective of 815Cinema is to produce local films.  While we do not have a strict template for

approving a production (yet), certain conditions will need to be met.

 

Submit a finished script.    Script must be approved by 815Cinema.

Create an LLC.    All productions will be produced under a unique LLC.

Hire a director.  You may direct, find someone within 815Cinema, or outside talent.

Hire a director of photography.  Responsible for camera and lighting.

Hire a special/visual effects artist.  Create any special/visual effects required.

Hire an editor.  The editor must have a proven track record of completing projects and releasing them                             to the public.  

Hire a cast.    815Cinema does not maintain a roster of on-screen talent.

Hire crew.     815Cinema will provide crew when available, however positions such as script supervisor,

property, costuming, and makeup may need to be provided by the producer.

Any crew that cannot be provided by 815Cinema must be provided by the producer.

Provide resources.  Catering primarily, since most/all crew will be working for free, it is expected that

production will provide meals and snacks.  While 815Cinema may have funds to assist

a production, the producer will be responsible for the balance.

Scout/secure locations.  Includes permits for public areas.

The producer is responsible for all aspects of producing the film.

815Cinema is not a comprehensive production entity, but rather a source of crew and filmmaking equipment which in most cases is sufficient for small and modest productions.

The producer must supply what 815Cinema is not able to.
